Project: Gerald R Ford International Airport- SRE (Snow Removal Equipment) Building Expansion

Project Information: This project was uniquely located within the restricted Airport Operations Area (AOA) of Gerald R. Ford International Airport, requiring badged access for all personnel. The secure location made scheduling complex—especially for concrete pours and asphalt paving that required multiple deliveries. Additional coordination was needed with the FAA and Air Traffic Control Tower during steel erection using a large crane, as the site was less than 1,000 feet from the main runway. Despite these challenges, the project was completed on time and on budget thanks to strong collaboration across the team.
